“Legal Responses to Family Violence” – A Panel Discussion with Rosie Batty

Community Legal Centres Tasmania and the Law Society are pleased to present “Legal Responses to Family Violence”.

This will be a panel discussion with Rosie Batty, Attorney General Vanessa Goodwin, Police Commissioner Darren Hine, Legal Aid Commission Safe at Home Lawyer Margaret Chandler and Specialist Family Violence Prosector Liz Avery. The panel will be moderated by our CEO & Principal Solicitor Susan Fahey.

The panel will be held from 12.00pm at the Law Society on Wednesday 5th August.

The discussion will focus on the involvement of the law in tackling family violence, the systems ain place and what the profession can do moving forward.
