Solicitor’s Guarantee Fund Grant

Attorney General Brian Wightman today announced a grant of just over $222,000.00 to WLS from the Solicitor’s Guarantee Fund in order to continue our work assisting vulnerable women in Tasmania.

The Solicitor’s Guarantee Fund provides much needed additional funding for services such as the Legal Aid Commission and WLS and is administered by the State Government.

WLS Managing Solicitor Susan Fahey said ” We are delighted with the additional funds. They allow us to continue providing assistance to vulnerable women in Tasmania otherwise unable to access affordable legal services”.
