We are seeking two exceptional female Solicitors to work within our organisation providing telephone and face to face legal advice, casework, representation and referral, as well as contributing to community legal education and law reform (further details in position descriptions).
The positions are based in Burnie and regular intrastate travel is required, particularly throughout the North West and West Coast of Tasmania.

SENIOR SOLICITOR Full time / Part time
SCHADS Level 6-7 (negotiable based on experience)
- Experienced Solicitor with at least 3-5 years post-admission experience.
- Full time and Part time applicants considered.Please indicate your preference when applying.
- Providing high level legal advice and assistance to women experiencing Family Violence. Demonstrated experience in and understanding of Family Law and Family Violence is highly favourable.
- Providing supervision and support across a small team of three.
- Coordination and delivery of outreach services.
- Liaison with stakeholders.
- Intrastate travel required.
- Unrestricted drivers licence required.
SOLICITOR – Full time
SCHADS Level 4
- Graduate – 2 years post admission experience.
- Providing high level legal advice and assistance to women experiencing Family Violence. Experience in and understanding of Family Law and Family Violence will be highly favourable but not essential.
- Assist with the daily operations of the Burnie based office working within a small team of three.
- Delivery of outreach services.
- Liaison with stakeholders.
- Intrastate travel required.
- Unrestricted drivers licence required.
