We are so very excited to announce that The Hon. Julia Gillard will be speaking at a fundraising breakfast to benefit WLS at Wrest Point in Hobart on Tuesday 28th April 2015.

WLS has a strong commitment to providing access to knowledge and education for all women and girls and as such we are pleased (ecstatic) to have the opportunity to host Ms Gillard who will be speaking about her work as the Chair of the Board of the Global Partnership for Education in Hobart.

Ms Gillard’s focus for 2015 is girl’s education. With 31 million girls out of school around the world, we believe this is something we should all know about and be involved in changing.

In addition we are excited to announce that the very clever, funny and fabulous Tori Hodgman will be our host ensuring a fun time for all!

We are extremely grateful to Elite Appliances, Butler, McIntyre & Butler Lawyers, Awake Consulting and Wrest Point for supporting us. We of course also very much appreciate The Hon. Julia Gillard for being so generous with her time!

All proceeds will go to WLS to continue to provide frontline legal services for vulnerable and at risk women in Tasmania.
