Tasmanian Government’s Abuse In Care Review Program

The Tasmanian Government’s Abuse in Care Review Program is closing to new applicants next month, after nine years of successfully assisting over 1600 people to access both recognition and ex gratia payments in compensation for abuse suffered whilst in state Government care.

If you, or others you know, believe that you have a claim to be assessed, please contact the Tasmanian Government’s existing After Care Support Program by calling 1300 654 583 before February 15, 2013.

Should you need assistance to prepare your claim or if you require any further information, please contact the Women’s Legal Service on our advice line number 1800 682 468.
